This is a fantastic piece. I clicked on it because of the blue hair and wanted to get a better look at her face. Then I read the comments by the moron who called it porn and was telling everybody they were repeating what they heard or repeating the same arguments, when that's what he was doing. Obviously he doesn't understand what art is. This is art. And it's beautiful. Great job.

This is very lovely, I love that it simply captures the body, instead of exploiting her in a sexual way, if you know what I mean.

As someone who has graduated from college in studio art, has taken 3 Art History classes, one nude drawing class, and is currently in graduate school for illustration, there is a major difference between pornography and nudes.
She isn't doing anything lude, she is just posing. If you are referring to her bare body as pornographic, it isn't. It's natural. Everyone is born into this world naked. The exposure of her body isn't the idea of pornography, but the exposition of nature. The knowledge that underneath our clothes, our technical devices, our everything else, we are all born the same.
Many art schools have you drawing the nude human body to expose you this fact, to get you see the beauty in the human form, and to better your technique when drawing figures with clothing.

One, I didn't say anything that I "heard". I said stuff that I experienced. From college classes I have taken, and things I have seen. No one told me to believe anything, just like I'm going to tell you, you don't have to believe what I'm telling you, I'm just giving you another perspective. Two, what makes it unethical? I'm confused by that statement??? She's literally not doing anything but lying there in her birthday suit. Three, I honestly don't care enough to contribute anymore to this conversation. Believe what you want, but you will realized once you open your mind to things, that nature isn't as shameful as society wants you to believe.

It's LITERALLY an artistic nude. Exact definition. No more, no less. You keep saying that we're just repeating what we heard or that it's our opinion. No, it's literal fact. What do you think those words 'nude' and 'artistic' mean? Because this photo is the literal definition of those two words. This is fact. It's 'artistic' because the photograph considers things such as lighting, composition, posture, etc, etc. It's nude, because she's nude. Simple as. You also say "it's not shy" as if that means anything at all. What do you think a nude is? If things are covered, it's not technically a nude. Then again, you can hardly form a coherent sentence, so I'm not sure why I'm bothering to tell you any of this.

I want to hear some genuine details as to what makes this pornographic. You're just repeating the same trolling BS. That the model isn't "shy?" Much of the great art of the world, celebrated in museums from Praxiteles to Michelangelo to Titian to Rubens to Rembrandt to Renoir to Rodin to Rodigliani to the modern day, involved some very-not-shy nude models.

No. Not at all. Porn includes sexual activities. She is literally just sitting there. Just because it shows her genitals does not make it porn.
"Pornography is the portrayal of sexual subject matter for the exclusive purpose of sexual arousal." As stated on google. This image was not uploaded for sexual arousal. If you get off on a naked person sitting there then that is your deal.
Naked people are drawn all the time in figurative and life drawing classes. It's to learn anatomy. Not for someone to get off on.
