STAY AWAY FROM HER! Midnight Star screamed as she let loose another blast against the controlled hero. I have this covered guys, take the fight to the source. She passed off the trapped Red Micron to Mach-6 and focused again on the Centurion.

Mach-6 dropped Replikate off next to Detroit Justice and Red Olympian then ran off to grab Battle Medic. He began to smell Lilac and vanilla. Soon he knew Lovespell would take control of him as well. Grabbing Battle Medic he ran, as he ran he began having visions of the beautiful blond, he could do nothing less than please her. She was his world, his everything.

Battle Medic reached up, grabbing the speedsters face. Clear your mind, he said and a green glow emanated from his hands. Mach-6 could think clearly now. Medic? how did you? I control emotions, they don't control me. I thought you knew that friend. Mach could see a smirk break from under the white-clad hero's mask. I hope you can do the same to the others. They still need our help. Here's Micron, Let me see if I can bring the big guy here.

Belaxia began firing beams at the escaping super villains, taking down as many as she could before they take off. She wanted to attack Lovespell directly but still fears that since she is still using Gavin's body that she may be susceptible the the villain's allure.

Red Olympian looked around the battlefield, her husband was back to fighting the good fight, Bravery and Midnight Star seemed to have the Centurion on the ropes, and Detroit Justice was back on her feet using her shields fully expanded to try and block some doorways keeping some of the inmates in. The one person she didn't see was Lovespell.

A brick hit Red Olympian in the back of her head, laying on the ground bleeding she looked up and saw Lovespell with a brick in her hands. Not so confidant now are you archer? Lovespell kicked Red's bow away and kicked her in the face. It's time I left, I'm sure you'll be much too busy with the breakout to find me, and I'll at least have one new boytoy to play with. Centurion! Come to me!

The Centurion broke off from his engagement with the heroines and flew down and picked up Lovespell. As they flew away Red Olympian reached back to her quiver, and at the bottom she pulled at a handle and a small bow unfolded. Grabbing an impact arrow she took aim at the villainess and let loose. The arrow struck home perfectly, knocking Lovespell loose and stunning the Centurion. when he flew down to grab his mistress Mach-6 ran up with Battle Medic and he grabbed the Centurion and clean his mind.

The fight was over, Lovespell was recaptured but twenty-two villains escaped into the night. the rest were rounded up and sent to different prison's to hold them while the Dam was being repaired. The heroes gathered together at the crumbling remains of the prison.

That was a close one Paragons, Detroit Justice spoke to her team, but with the help of our friends we pulled out a victory. Midnight Star, Replikate, and Bravery you performed admirably and I'd like to formally welcome you to the Paragons. Midnight Star squealed with joy before realizing what she was doing and composed herself, Replikate just stood in awe looking at her communicator, but Bravery grabbed the communicator that Mach-6 gave her and handed it to Detroit Justice. Thanks but no thanks, I helped as a favor for an old friend, but I still have other things to do, however I have a feeling that the Centurion there would gladly take you up on the offer. As Bravery flew off she gave one last wink to Mach-6 and vanished into the sunset.

Well I for one am excited! Midnight Star said. I think this is going to be awesome! The team just stood there and laughed, her youthful excitement was infectious. A new dawn was here for the Paragons!

EPILOGUE:
As the police truck carrying Lovespell drove down the road, the two female police officers began talking. Can you believe this was all because of the tiny blond there? I heard she can control men, wouldn't mind having that power myself. The other officer however began to smell lilacs and vanilla. she pulled her gun and shot her partner in the face. the car pulled over to the side of the road and the officer let Lovespell out. She smiled and said to herself, they always forget that some women are also attracted to women. the officer got pack into the car and drove it off a cliff. Now I just have to find a way to kill Red Olympian. That little bitch will pay for shooting me with that arrow.

Here ya go all, finally the end of the Battle of the Sexes. That took way too long as I had several bouts of writer's block and work related stoppages. but it is here. Time to focus back on the origin stories and what's going on with the Orogeny and their enhanced powers. Plus I already have plans for Lovespell as she is not one to take defeat lightly. Plenty of new heroes and villains to come and hopefully faster than it took for this story. Thanks to everyone who waited patiently and to all the artists who made these stories possible.
