As a gem living in a now unstable world, Ametrine makes the most of her life as a middle class gem, though their inability to maintain a serious attitude has made them lose respect from their higher ups as they struggle to understand social standing.They are actually very optimistic and relaxed, preferring to spend time around like-minded gems and tending to not hang around gems that would bum them out. However they do take the time to get to know a gem if they feel there is more under the surface. Sometimes they get clingy and can crave to be appreciated and noticed. But either way, they are content with their rank and job, enjoying having a purpose. They don't make it obvious, but they also are a bit of a hopeless romantic and like reading stories when they have free time.
