Description
Iris is a commissioned pony. She's been rehaired with royal blue hair and has irises for her symbols on her hiney and on her forehead. I also painted an extra flower pick I had to make her an accessory just like a real flutter pony.I photographed her with real flutter wings, which are from my personal collection.

I LOVE her blue hair! It contrasts so well against her yellow, I never even thought of the combination. Whoever designed her definitely did well but so did you by bringing her to life.
BTW, if you don't mind me asking what type of hair did you use for her? Vintage donor hair, Nylon, Saran, etc.? It has that gorgeous shine and curl at her ends. Beautiful work, as always!

Hi! I used donor hair from a 4-Speed...but she was actually re-haired a long time ago, and was never finished until I found her again and someone commissioned the symbols and finishing touches.
These days I am in full support of nylon hair from dollyhair, and I use it for pretty much everything! Before nylon was discovered I used saran hair for a couple of customs and it was ok, but I don't like the limp, oily feeling it has to it. I'd recommend nylon to anyone!
