because they are micro they can build much faster and because they are bots they do not stop. It is brilliant. I mean, of course there are people working on them, but people need to sleep and that's at minimum 4 hours of downtime and a maximum of even sometimes 16 hours of downtime. Humans and the like are not very efficient at keeping a steady schedule. Sure, people have shifts and everything, but when have you ever seen a robot not do its job? They certainly don't need to sleep. if they stop, pop a new battery in in just a few seconds time and they whiz off again.

actually I have a dad who works at a nissan car plant and I have seen the robots on the line just sitting there, so I have seen them not doing there job.... but It was during shutdown... so only a few lines were active. but this is all true, especially on such a scale and secrecy... still not sure how it stayed secret for that long, but eh. though heavy loads would be interesting... but they are also in space... so yeah... not a problem actually. and even with a massive amount of workers whom you have sufficiently threatened so they don't leak info, the amount you would need to keep constant work would be astronomical and therefore would really blow the secrecy thing while building... how did they keep this thing secret till it was operational again
