Description
Halo, a structure created by a race of beings known as the Forerunners from times ago is discovered by a human ship in the year 2552. The nature of the Forerunners is a mystery, as is the nature of the Ring. The human ship, the Pillar of Autumn, discovers Halo when they make a blind jump through space fleeing from a fleet of Covenant ships. The human ship and the religious, fanatical alien race known as the Covenant land on Halo for separate purposes. The Pillar of Autumn lands to avoid breaking Cole Protocol, a mandatory procedure to deny the capture of the ship-board artificial intelligence. The Covenant land to fulfill a fallacious religious conquest. Neither race realizes that a another serious threat is buried beneath the Ring. The only thing stopping the Covenant and Halo from eliminating our existing reality is Master Chief(real name John), a genetically enhanced soldier who is the last of his breed and is fighting a losers battle for a race that alienated HIM from his early childhood. Movie Release 2008!
