This is Chun Li from the Street Fighter game/series/movie/blah, although it could pass as Miaka from Fushigi Yuugi... it's all open to interpretation
Goddamn, this took me AGES to do, and it still didn't turn out the way I wanted it to!! The drawing itself took over an hour to do, and after working non-stop on it for over a week I just gave it a crappy background, used various blurring tools and called it done. Nevertheless, I still like it
Do you?As a side note, the Japanese writing says Chun Li (well, literally it translates to Chun Ri, but you get the point, right?

This is beautiful work. It's so stylishly done, and you captured a great deal of intense beauty in the character's face. The stars in the background give the piece a magical feel that I find very appealing. You say it took ages to do, and all I can say is that your hard work paid off. My only regret is that DA is misbehaving at the moment and I can't see it in full view, but I'll be back for that. Sweet!

She was my favorite character... I think. It was a long time ago since I played it. I really like her head, eyes, and hair. Especially the eyes.

I like the shading and the detail in this.. but if you're going for realistic, listen to warui-shoujo, he's on the right track.. Nice piece of artwork though, good job!

wow great background, nice view as well, I haven't seen too many chung li fan arts lately.
Anyways I have noticed a few things on this piece. Her nack is a bit too big and her shoulders are too close together. On this angle (3/4th view) you should be able to see the other eye.Other than that it's great.
I really like the detail you put into her eye and mouth it makes her really pretty.

I know her played streetfighter. Like the background with the little spots of light. The details of the eye with the little hair is pretty nice. I only think that the hair could be beter with little hair and detail just like the hair.
