Good luck. I've only ever used stoneware clay. I'm not very good at babying the clay though lol, dries too fast sometimes. You must use sculpting clay?

I use oil based clay (super sculpey). So I don't have to worry about it drying out. I have used water based clay and would sometimes use it. Everything in my gallery is oil based.
