Was this accomplished on a 3-D printer ?
I saw one in action and may have a 3-D print at work of a tapeworm head.

3-D printer? I haven't use anything like that yet.
But the characters were compared with official style guide when sculpting, their positions may be similar or the same.
These were Super Sculpey.

I loved this show too! I remember the "I'm Mad" segment that showed in the theatre; I think it came before The Swan Princess or Thumbelina. (How funny--I remember the pre-movie short but not the actual movie.) I also loved "Baloney & Friends" and the one that parodied The Sound of Music. I even remember all the words to "Yakko's World" and "Wakko's America." Man, I miss the Animaniacs and the '90s!

You've got great memories! Things had changed a lot for cartoons in the past some years. However they sure were good companion in time! ^^

I like all your artworks   This work is wonderful, and characters look soooo cute
but what of material they are made? Polymeric clay?

sculptor101 In reply to HoneyLoo [2014-06-01 06:37:20 +0000 UTC]

Thanks a lot for the kind words!
They were made of Super Sculpey as most of my sculptures.

Wow all your work is so amazingly perfect!!   Great! ^^

May I ask you how do you get your sculptures so incredibly smooth? I currently try to sculpt a little figure using SuperSculpey living doll. But I really don’t know how to get rid of all the little bumps. If I use a tool to smoothen the surface I need to hold the figure somewhere and doing so the figure deforms again on that spot. Do you have any ideas/ suggestions how to make it better?

Thanks a lot! You may refer to my tutorial at

Super Sculpey is soft so you'd better make the armature for the figurine and apply some clay and bake first. Holding on the soft clay may not work well.

I had forgotten about this series.  You've done your usual fantastic job of sculpting, and using the Warner Bros. crest as a base is a great idea.

I actually followed the design and style guide from my client and licenser with them on logo.  Perhaps they were sort of memory piece. And thanks my dear!! ^^
How have you been lately! It's spring time yet in your city? ^^

SilverTop In reply to sculptor101 [2014-03-19 03:19:15 +0000 UTC]

I've been busy, but doing good.
Yesterday, it was 70 degrees and sunny... a beautiful spring day.  Today it snowed.  (They say around here that if you don't like the weather just wait ten minutes and it will change.)
How about you?  Have you been doing well, and is it spring there yet?

This is a strange year, actually it was strange for a few years. We never know should we store the coats or not... ^^ Yes, beautiful spring already!  I'm doing well lately, still working on a scene of Mickey & Minnie sculptures. ^^

wow! I love it! Animaniacs was one of my favorite cartoons as a kid!

It's a shame you don't convert your sculpt into garage kits, I would totally buy them so I can paint them

That would be a great idea but I do not have the permission and license... Hope they will consider making them like coloring book but in 3D sculptures!!   Thanks so much!! ^^
