Description So, this is something I like from the paper mario games. They introduce Goombas who don't work for Bowser and are actually GOOD characters, and ALLIES of mario. Goombario, and Goombella. Goombario is a friendly goomba kid who helps mario on his adventure, and Goombella is a student from a university who studies archeology. Honestly, I really like this concept, and unlike the mainstream Goombas, these two doesn't hate Mario. Quite the opposite, Goombario is apparanlty a fan of mario, And its very subtly hinted at that Goombella even has a crush on Mario. 

Goombario and Goombella belongs to nintendo.

I agree. Sadly that hasn't been much in the series since Sticker star. :/ Maybe the upcoming "Origami king" Can turn that around, but Im not holding my hopes up.

Maybe, but Im still skeptical. One thing that really ruined it was the battle system. Sure they improved it "Slightly" in color splash, but for the most part, battle feels more like a chore.

Totally agree with you there. Its a reason TTYD is talked as the perfect paper mario game.

It's good that there are Goombas (and likely other creatures as well) who aren't on Bowser's side.
It should give Mario pause, to not blindly destroy every Goomba or Koopa he encounters.

My knowledge on Mario may not be the biggest but I've heard of the two good Goombas.
