It was a particularly cold evening and almost all the other horses had gone to shelter in the forests. It had been a relatively slow season without horses going to show so they had all been living in the pastures practically wild, other than morning feedings. The insufferable young Nordy named Splash, who's energy and playfulness was incurable, was stretching his every last moment out in the free moving air. But as lightning cracked the sky and the clouds strangled and squeezed out the last hints of blue, Splash stood on the edge, and watched the colors die helplessly underneath a blanket of gray. He turned his head and gazed longingly towards the shelter where he knew the other stallions had take refuge and blinked subtly, feeling the cold air pierce his coat and bite his skin. Shivering, he turned to take shelter.

Actually no, I'm sorry but as far as I am concerned the shading/highlighting is horrible, why am I not ever happy with pictures of Splash!?
