Doctor Clown is as skeezy as she is lonely and as lonely as she is insane....After a year of stubbornly drawing with a mouse and finding the stylus too difficult, I just suddenly, magically picked it up and was able to draw with it just fine. Comparing just this first-ever tablet comic to my previous, it looks so much better that I'm depressed this didn't happen sooner. I'm excited. I think I can start learning to REALLY draw.

To be fair, gummi worms are delicious.
Also, I'm not sure how I feel about the fact that I actually thought about what she'd do with a tentacle AND a pincher claw...for more than a few seconds.

Oh, sure, because before this, all you could create is crude scribbles. What do you mean "I can start learning to REALLY draw??" Your work thus far has been fantastic!

I've never ever been able to draw on the computer anywhere near the way I want to, and my previous drawings pretty much ignored every technical rule of good linework (for one thing, they didn't have linework at all

Same thing happened with my tablet.

Same happened to me recently.
I had my little dumb penpall hiden away for over two years because I just couldn't use it well enough.
I started to use Zbrush recently, picked up the tablet once again and voila, it's awesome.
I've also read a small article on how to set up the tablet in a better way than the default settings - that helped heaps as well.

Nope, it descented into obscurity the moment I was finished with it.
But it's really simple, the trick is to use "mouse mode" instead of "pen mode" and turn off mouse acceleration.
