None of the jumps were really planned. We just took a bunch and I picked my favorites to put together because I didn't want to flood dA with a whole bunch of jumping silhouettes of the same subject.

There's a kind of serenity and elegance to these, that is different from the jubilant energy your brother had in his. And a real weightlessness. You're not just jumping in some of these, but lifting off ^_^

It surprises me that you find elegance in this pictures, probably because I in person I can be rather akward and clumsy at times. Me and my brother have completely different personalities and I'm glad that also comes across in pictures. I'm more timid and less independant while my brother is the exact opposite, but I'd like to think that in these pictures I'm breaking away from that. And as for lifting off, that's just because you can't see the strings. Just kidding!

Photographs can do an awful lot of lying ^_~ But I still see it. A lot of the time, I think, people become more elegant when they simply stop caring and live for the moment ^_^
I'm half and half, I think. I can be very outgoing, and make new friends easily, but very withdrawn and hermit-ish. I need people, but I also need a space of my own and time that is devoted to no one but myself. I imagine I can be very hard to deal with ~laugh~

It's a beautiful thing when people have the time(s) of their life.
I think that it is eisier for me to connect to animals than humans, but when I make real friends, the bonds are strong there is no holding back between eachother. But still, we have a long way to go until we are complete with wisdom and everyone goes through different phases as they go through life.

It is ^^ But I tend to find honest emotion, in all forms, to be beautiful. It is that instantaneous truth which appeals to me, I think ^_^
Animals tend to be less . . . distracted than humans, I think. They live in the now, for the most part, and don't feel the need to hide what they are or what they intend. There is pride, but no shame. I find that easier to identify with. But it is true that people change and learn with time ^_^ I look forward to seeing what I turn into.

You are very fortunate your parents feel that way about your art. Some peoples' parents I know of just think that drawing is a waist of time. My dad is very creative though my mom isn't very artsy at all but I love them nonetheless.

My brother and I love to play on the local hills and marshes at the nearby regional park where we just go crazy. The two pictures in the middle were taken 4 days after the rest which is why the lighting conditions aren't consistant throughout. Action shots are my favorites and silhouettes just make things a little more interesting.
