OK, so MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!! I hope you all had an awesome day with family/friends/loved ones. I am super behind on my inbox so i apologize for not getting back to people straight away. I hope to get that all done in the next few days. BUT I HAVE BEEN DRAWING!!! AND DIGITAL! I got a tablet for Christmas so I AM BACK BABY!

This was done earlier and has been in desperate need of posting. I am planning on entering these two in a show so i need to crack on with their story so they are ready soon! SO without any more rambling, have the next part.

Sarah gave the roan stallion an affectionate scratch on his poll as she finished clipping her bags and swag onto the bareback pad. They were all packed and ready for their multiple day trip up to the lease. She had been planning this for the last week and the closer it came, the more excited it made her.

She had come up with her plan during another chat with Cavan. Hunk had made good improvement since she decided to move to the barn but he had plateaued again and Cavan had thought he was getting bored of the routine and needed a change. When she found out that Frankie had only really done trekking with Hunk and that she tended to avoid too much ring or arena work, Sarah decided that Hunk needed to do something real with her to move forward. So the camping trip had been decided upon. She would not be able to ride him anywhere but she had always liked running and hiking, so the two of them would follow the road part way and then hike through the property and up into the leased foothills and camp and work together.

It was still spring so while it warmed up a bit during the day, there were frequent storms and even some occasional late snow up in the mountains and it would not be an easy trip. Sarah had prepared for all weather and had brought enough food for a few days as well as blankets and swag for her. Hunk would be covered in a blanket if it got cold, but otherwise he would be allowed to just relax and settle down to working.

She had Hunk all ready and with a smile she jammed her cap on her head and tucked the sat phone in the top of the saddle bag. She waved at Ryan as they passed the arena he was working Asha in, and smiled as the ute with a bunch of waving lesson students drove past. They turned their noses south and with Hunks ears pricked she set off at a jog.
