Well this resulted from procrastinating and wanting to try out a new technique in SAI. I am still getting the hang of that program... slowly. ANYWAY, i just felt like trying watercolour digitally... which as you can see failed miserably.Then again i fail at it traditionally too.... In the end this is a kinda speedy paint experimental water/acrylic/digital/scribble hybrid that i seem to have been channeling Tazihound for.... I must have been lurking around her amazing gallery too much because after i did the sketch i was very confused.ANYWAY. Its Kall, i need to draw my Niq babies more often and he is the first to really get some art from me. Even though they are not born yet RP timeline wise i love the babies so much. *snugs them*
I'm going to stop rambling now, hope you guys enjoy.

This is beautiful! I don't really know what these giant wolf bears are all about but this is lovely art and has fantastic atmosphere. I love the sense that this could be a real animal, your style in drawing him has a great mix of semi-realism and character. He looks majestic. I don't think you failed at all, I love it!

Nawww thanks so very much Anna, It was a lot of fun to play with and i am lucky i have such fun inspiration from Tokotas and the group activities. It makes doing experiments like this a lot of fun. I think i am starting to get the hand of SAI's brush options... though i still need to watch a tutorial about all the other features i have yet to discover.

I just noticed you used SAI, what brush did you use o.o I must know!!! The fur strokes and the background foliage are so nice

I love the line and anatomy! I can concur on stalking Tazi's gallery and trying to attempt to try her coloring backgrounds style stuff! I love this and the soft background makes him stand out more and seem powerful with his magnificent locks waving in the wind lol. His coat pattern is gorgeouss along with all of Niq's babies.

That background is just jaw dropping. The atmosphere of this image makes me feel cold XD I love Kalluk's pose as well, he looks quite powerful.
