Day 1 out of 365: Pain.
I'm going to attempt doing a 365 self-portrait series (so a photo/photo series a day). Not sure if I'll keep up with it, but it's nice in theory.

This was shot digitally (for once). There are a lot of stories that could go with this, some of which I don't feel comfortable disclosing online. If anything, the story is dual; it goes hand in hand with my story, and, while unrelated, the body issues and mental 'pain' girls and women all around the world face. As a model (and a model who, while small in comparison to the general population, is far from thin on a 'model' level) I understand the scrutiny that one is under to have the perfect body. But really, what is the point of perfection? Stay beautiful, my watchers! <3
