Description
This is Impact. She is a member of my all female team called Uptown. You can see the other three on here too. The all wear an arrow on their costumes. Well I will be drawing new pictures of the other members, since this picture of Impact is the only picture of the members that I drew this year. I drew the picture two days ago. I really didnt revamp her to much from when I last drew her with this costume in 2002. All I did was change her hair really. She originally sported a Bob cut, but I thought that was too stereotypical for her. She is an asian latin mix now. In case you are wondering about the symbol, its the japanese symbol "Chikara" which stands for power [link] . Hope you like it. Thanks. I think im a fast learner. the problem I have is just having people to teach me. Glad you like the work. Every time I use photoshop I learn something dfferent, like with the sword effect. I am still just using a mouse, but onnce christmas is up, I will save up and get a wacom and try my hand at that.

sean, hope we could have enough time sooner. it's good for you that you can sit down for most of your hour for this one. me? need have to work to earn money. i just bhave a break this christmas. it's my vacation for 2 weeks. after this, don't know when i can sit down back again for this stuff. keep in touch.....

Well to tell you the truth I dont really have a lot of time to myself either. Being in the military messes thoughs things up for me. When I colored Impact and Fast Forward, I had my teeth pulled, so they put me on bed rest. The thing is it didnt hurt as bad as anticipated, and I was bored, so I colored them. I drew them earlier in the week, and you know doing line art isnt as hard compared to doing all the details. To tell you the truth, line art is easier to color that doing all the details, but when you put the details in by hand and you pop out the original, the origal to me looks better than just line art. Line art looks a little cartoony, but when you are doing photoshop to color, it looks the best and is earier to work with. If you look at my artisan-x pics, the one where he is flying solo and the one where he is on a building with the snake monsters, I think the one with the monsters is better. That one is reguler art, while the other is line. I didnt even bother to paint the suit black by hand, like in the one in the building. I like the way the building pic came out better. And its an older drawing, like 3 years older.
