Wow, what you did with this photo is really cool. I would never have thought of doing that. The black and white definitely accentuates the blur and lack thereof in the photo.

This was done using the Landscape mode on my camera. It actually works fairly well with color too; it was cloudy at the time so I figured B&W might be better to experiment with. The secret to the blur effect was to use a slower shutter speed; less than 1/40 worked best I found.
