The successors of Uchawi, the first mjuzi of the Pridelands.
Uchawi planted a tree at Mizimu Grove, not knowing that this would become a tradition for ever royal mjuzi. Uchawi came across a nomad albino gorilla, who had been kicked out of his troop, and took him in. This gorilla was Maarifa. After Uchawi was killed by Kuuma, Maarifa became the mjuzi. He was the mjuzi for the rest of Abeo's reign, however, early on in Aaminata's reign, he would be killed by a leopard. Following this, a mandrill named Habari became the new mjuzi. Habari was what you'd call a witch doctor, curing animals using astonishing methods. Habari would later be ambushed and killed by the evil lions of the past that arrived in Aaminata's reign. Same was the fate for Habari's student Nyani, a baboon. Nyani became the mjuzi, and was the Pridelands' historian, head doctor and spiritual advisor, shaman and healer. Unfortunately, Nyani too was killed by the evil lions of the past, and her corpse was left to rot. When it was found it was mostly a pile of maggots, bones and carrion, with flies swarming around.
Tsidii became Nyani's successor, and he lived on through Aaminata's reign, but stepped down.
