Uzito is a barbarian lion. When he was just a cub living in a pride, his father was killed by a trio of rogues. His mother, worried for his safety, fled her pride, and arrived at the Pridelands, where she raised her son. Uzito proved to be the most skilled in combat amongst the young cubs. He was picked as the strongest member when Askari was forming his own guard.
Uzito's reign as the strongest of his lion guard ended when he sacrificed himself to save three lion cubs that were being attacked by crocodiles. He succeeded in saving the cubs. Following his death, Askari's mate, Dakari took his place as the strongest. However, Uzito was by no means forgotten, and was remembered fondly many years after his death.
