Description Will hopefully be entering this or something very similar into a competition soon

Any thoughts on how to make it better?
My tutors suggested adding a name underneath each monster... I'm a bit worried that could clutter the image up too much as a whole.

I love this! It looks like it would make awesome kids bedding/curtains/wallpaper. Def like it on the white background. Maybe you could try it with names to see how it looks? Maybe if you put the text in the same colour as each monster.

I agree that the names would clutter it up, somewhat, but as a-nyul mentioned, perhaps a nice border would do the trick

It turned out really nice! Maybe some light polka dots spattered all over to balance out parts that are white or something? I like it how it is, though. You got really good variety in there.

I can't imagine coming up with a name for all of them, but it WOULD be fun to see what you come up with - compositionally I like it just as is - it's whimsical and imaginative

I've decided to do two versions with and without names Then the tutors can decide which I should submit from there

maybe it'll be okay as long as you keep the font big enough to read but small enough to not clutter it.

I'm going to do two versions to see which the tutors prefer (they are picking the final 20 out of 44 pieces)

I'm going to give them really normal names like Steve and Jane
