Sooo, I wanted to paint elves... AGAIN... and I wanted to do something decorative art nouveau style, so, uh. This came out.

Sadly my photoshop editing skills fail and I can't recapture the original that well on screen. Especially when my scanner is only A4 sized and my watercolour paper is just slightly larger than A4.

Galadriel, Elrond and Thranduil from J.R.R. Tolkien's world. I wanted to make each character different from the other, instead of just painting three cookie-cutter elves. Slight differences in their ears, noses, jaws, the blonde haircolours etc. Also the tiny leaves are supposed to be different with regards to the different regions; mallorn (aka birch) leaves for Galadriel, woodland flowers for Thranduil and alpine leaves for Elrond.
