Description I promise I will update this tomorrow with the finished piece, this is just since I really need this page up today and I can't finish this today, heaven knows I've tried, just don't hate me .
Also no Declan, sorry, I just couldn't think of a good place to position him.

Warptide related:
The four Wyngew found themselves locked in by whatever had shut the door behind them. Declan wanted to go and find a way out but the others seemed less bothered by it-it was probably some harmless prank from someone-and decided to explore a bit more. Declan, not wanting to be left alone in the corridors that looked quite ghostly in the pale moonlight, came with them under the condition tha t they would leave as soon as anything else happened.
They bumbled around for a bit, trying to stay in rooms with big and many window as they had brought no torches and weren't sure how they could ignite the old candles lying here and there.
After a while they found something like a kitchen area. A piece of rock and a metal thing wrapped in a bit of cloth where lying on the table, Nadya remembered that they used flint and iron to strike sparks back then and decided to try it out. It took a while but in the end she managed to light one of the candles which she claimed for herself, promising Declan to let them have the next one they came across to soothe his nerves.
However, it shouldn't come to that as only a few metres further down the hallway-they weren't sure which one it was anymore-they came upon an old door, once stable and reinforced with iron, but now rotting and rusting enough to make one wonder why it hadn't fallen off the hinges years ago.
They wanted to pass this creepy door as fast as possible but Lettuce seemed to think that this might be where the wisp was hiding out, maybe projecting an aura of unease to keep them away, so they went up to it. Asher gave it a light push but it was more resilient than it looked, he had to try several times to get it to budge and when he did he almost fell down the stairs.
At the bottom of it was an armoury and an double door leading to a massive spiral staircase that looked like it was quite possibly the oldest part of the building, something that had been there centuries before the prophet had set foot on this doorstep. The door was wide open, which was very suspicious as the door on the top had been locked firmly, Lettuce saw this as a confirmation to her theory and urged the others to go on. Asher jumped at the opportunity but the others didn't seem half as excited, Nadya agreed a little hesitantly and Declan outright refused to take another step toward it.
Still after a lot of convincing he agreed to go with them, but only if they where going in front of him, so he came.

As they descended the air grew colder and the dust and cobwebs was replaced with the smell of earth and moisture, which made Nadya get quite excited and try to go ahead several times, only to be held back and reminded that she was the only one with a light. The stairs went on for ages and Declan decided that it was better to go up again and search for an exit than to risk awakening whatever was down there, Nadya tried to urge him on and as the others froze dead in their tracks at the end of the staircase he finally went down a bit further.
Which he immediately regretted.
They where standing in a crypt, with uneven stone plates lying on the floor and a curved ceiling, Tombs lined the walls and seemed to go on for kilometres into the darkness beyond their tiny pool of light, but this wasn't the worst, nor was the apparent absence of all other live, there where no rats, worms, or other creatures in sight, not even old cobwebs on the ceiling, no the worst thing

Was the open tomb right in front of them.

______
Had fun? I just wipped this up so there might be a few mistakes if you find any please tell me so I can fix them, also tell me how you liked it.
I also screwed up the characters heads a bit and I guess it's not quite clear that Nadya is short, I just assumed the others where about average height as I couldn't find any other info about it, Nadya wasn't supposed to be this short at first but I messed up the growing up picture so now she's really short.
Also, did you know that crows are a lot more fluffy than swallows? I looked at raven and crow wings to get Ashers wings right (well righter) than last time and found than out :3.
I'm also really sorry for forgetting lettuce's elbow spikes in the last one.

EDIT/UPDATE: Done! it turned out great I think and I finally have the block free to start the first part of the ilisian tales and boy is it going faster than I could ever have done it digitally, even if I had cut out loads of detail and not cared if I screwed up a pose, the writing is looking quite good as well, at least in my opinion.
I just realized that parts of this are really blurry but that's still better than a WIP right? I'll try it again as soon as I finished the page which can't take more than a few more days even if I'm really lazy about it.

Thank you so much, I'm still not quite sure what style it is, my (well our class is split and he has the other part but close enough) art teacher said realistic with a touch of comic and manga which I guess is kinda right-ish?
(oh, and you should check him out ! He'll blow your mind, I just hope linking him like this doesn't notify him, I chatted to him years ago and told him I wasn't his pupil, which at the time was true but I've switched schools and have had him as a substitute teacher a few times now. At least he doesn't yet know who I am/was on DA but if this gets his attention he will know because art teachers learn to identify the strokes of people so they can tell if someone tried to cheat by making someone else do the art for him and he DID see my stuff before so...)

I suppose it does, at least I now have something I can call it, before he saw how I drew I just went "umm, maybe sorta cartoon-ish? Manga humans?"
It is, isn't it? Just don't let him get his hands on animals, dear god that dog he drew in class made my inner Anatomy nerd rreeeeeally twitchy, it wasn't even sorta "er, allright I guess?" anatomy but downright "have you ever seen a leg before?" bad, Jesus I never really learned to draw dogs and haven't had much other contact with them either but even I could have wiped out something better than that broken legged abomination (again, sorry if you're reading this Morelli, just me being very itchy about the anatomy of stuff okay, don't take it personally).

Thanks and okay, first: get yourself a pencil, a nib and nibholder (pens should be okay too) and a paper, start referencing creatures and things, sketch them and try to use the pen to line and shade, you can use line thickness, hatching and so on to indicate shadow, keep practising and experimenting, look at how others did the shadows and don't be disappointed if it doesn't look good right away, these things take practice, if you need help look for tutorials or show me the result and a few WIPs and I can try to help.

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVER..... SOMEONE ACTUALLY TOOK ME SERIOUSLY AND OFFERED TO HELP!!!

THANK YOU! I will! X3

I usually take people seriously, though I wasn't quite sure if you where, but I figured if you weren't it would be okay as well since some people consider it a talent and all and it would be kind of like answering the question "how did you get this good?" with "practice" if you know what I mean.
And you're welcome to show me your work and progress and ask for help if you want, just be prepared for a lot of advice as I often have a hard time finding the main thing to practice so I will often write very long comments with tutorials and help for everything that's just the slightest bit off . So don't be intimidated by that.

Yea, two languages, both learned through "getting a feeling for it" will do that to some people. I just have lost most of my sense of punctuation for both and I often have a lot of afterthoughts and much more to say than could easily fit in an unmodified sentence.

Your welcome, it's pretty much what I'm already doing, running around giving advice to people.

Thanks, it was a load of work and cost me one nib holder, I just hope it's okay to submit the WIP to the group as there is no way I'll be able to finish this in time.
