The chill dark sludge froze in frigid puddles on the ground, splattered against tree trunks, hung dripping from bushes. No matter how many they hacked apart, more arrived to replace the fallen. Still they soldiered on, unfaltering in their quest... for no one's sake but their own...

Em doesn't believe for one moment that the queen can control the headless behemoth. Having already lost his mother to the power-hungry monarch's pointless war, he sets out to put an end to it himself. He doesn't want any regrets, not this time...
