Description
Extra illustration for the fanfic parody "Saint Seiya - Loser Bronze Saints" Vol.3/part 1 (“Saint Seiya Lambda”) by the friend Lameks!
You can find it in Italian here: www.saintforum.net/index.php/t… www.efpfanfic.net/viewstory.ph…
480 b.C. Ten years have passed since the first battle fought against Ares over Marathon Plain. Now the God of Bloody War and Brutality is back, leading the huge Persian army again.
In the meantime the loser Bronze Saint Lionet Ban has been sent by Zeus in person no less, to steal the Greek army Nike’s scepter, just to find himself catapulted in the middle of the war shambles.
The Second Persian War has begun!!!
While a city-states alloy (including Athens, Sparta, Aegina, Corinth and many others) confronts with the Berserker navy by sea (left, sekishiki.deviantart.com/art/T…), a handpiece of Spartan volunteers headed by Gold Saint King Leo Leonidas tries to stop the Persian land troops in a desperate battle at Thermopylae (center, sekishiki.deviantart.com/art/S…). Many will die in these bloody clashes, but the fate of this war and the future of the whole western people will be decreed by a third battle, in the seas – and the skies – of Salamis (right, sekishiki.deviantart.com/art/S…).
Will Lionet Ban survive this mess and accomplish his mission?

I’m very proud about this huge massive table. The “triptych” is obviously a fusion of the three images you find in the links above.
As my friend Lameks, the author, told me about the possibility to make a composed final wallpaper, I admit I was a bit frightened. Both because I’d just imagined the scenes in a certain way and because mixing images without making a mess sounded a bit overestimating my abilities. So I went on my way, limiting myself in dividing the tables in an above-and-below setting and using a diagonal inclination for the lateral planned images.
I didn’t pretend them to really become a triptych at the end, I wanted them to work the best even all alone. But when I finally tried the fusion… it worked as well! Sure I had to fix a lot of details, but… it really worked!!!
I hope you like it too…
Uh, a little treat! You can find in the triptych all the 12 Gold Saints of the V century b.C. Cancer Demaratus indeed wears a sarkr-version of his cloth, since he is a former Saint now faithful to Ares.
I’ll make you wait a bit more, for futher images. I’ve just started reading Vol.3/part2. I can only spoil the title for the moment: “Saint Seiya V”…Ain’t you curious?! I am!!!
