I've seen it...months ago and nothing mentioning of her hearing. All I can say is that she has anger issues, very impatient, very...tomboyish (obviously), she's pretty much her cartoon counterpart except that she's more...anger issue-ish, and she uses a GINORMOUS hammer that's big as her as her weapon (her weapon is the only one that makes sense. Rolling Bubbles uses a bubble wand slightlybigger than her and Hyper Blossom uses a regular sized yoyo...)

Yeah, only the Hammer makes sense, A Yo-yo is an odd weapon, as is a giant bubble blower.
