Description
This is my submission to Square-Enix's 7th Anniversary of FF XI art contest. The theme was pretty vague, which was "7th Anniversary" so I decided to just draw something cool in hopes that would win. Winners get a nifty looking rod that bestows gifts on whoever it's used on.So here we have Ny and Run fighting the dragon boss Tiamat. Probably never going to happen, but it seemed like a cool idea!
UPDATED: This won a runner-up prize in the contest! The Ifrit Prize! Probably because it's very red! So I actually got my pic posted on the SE Website and one of the Rods. It actually produces pies that people can eat...so it's strange but something almost no one else has.

Very true, but whatever they're doing, they're certainly doing it right. I wish I could find the magic popular art style/genre/personality that draws the views and work in. Oh well, art wouldn't be exciting if you didn't have to work for it somewhat.
