Awww.. you are so nice. I was reading a text about a new roleplaying class for a pen-and-paper-game back then and I was so amazed about it I really had to draw it. :-D It's kind of a beggar who roams cities full of magic and toxic waste to search the sewers for rare or magic materials he can sell. I though maybe this specific guy loves to catch mutated fish and sell them on the market as curiosities.

Beautiful drawing - as always! I think I wouldn't have the patience to draw so much details ^^ How long did you work on this one? and how big is the original picture? just interested

The original picture is DinA4 --- and I thiiiink it took me about 6-8 hours. I really love doing the details most of all... but often I don't have the patience for a good "basis" so I have to work on that. Normally, when I just draw a picture for myself I rarely have the patience using an eraser at all. o.O Like in this picture: I knew that the perspective of the tunnel is badly wrong, but I just thought: "Oh... well... next time I'll try being a perfectionist there!" :-P

Yeah it's not good to be always an extreme perfectionist. i have those thoughts too sometimes, even with my jewelry ^^
and I usually also draw on A4

A4 is normally really big for me. My pictures are often A5 or even smaller. The pictures you see in my "comission.section" for example are A6 :-D Being perfectionist isn't a bad thing at all. :-D But when I was younger I wasted so much time being a perfectionist that I never finishes ANY project. --- Now I try to find a good compromise between working effective and being a perfectionist. :-PΒ

I love the choice of color: the grimy green, pale brown, and rusty orange really represents the streets of a medieval city well! I also adore the different pencil strokes for textures. And that boy looks kinda cute, too.
Overall, I love this drawing!

Some people say the boy reminds them on Ruffy from OnePiece... but I personally think that's just because of the straw head and the black hair. :-D I was thinking about turning him into an own character, but I am not that good in inventing good background stories. *laugh*

Hahaha! It's okay. In fact I have a fantasy world of my own featuring more than six stories right now. I want to embed him in this world somehow... I already know in which of the thirteen kingdoms he lives and when (and thus with which two of my main characters he might be connected), but that's all... maybe he will just stay some "random dude in the background" forever. :-D I think I like him that way for now.
