Dunno if you folks have taken notice, but I've been in a little artistic rut and haven't really been making much of anything. It's been mainly a mind over matter sort of deal, really. I kinda just had to go "SCREW IT!" and just draw something for the sake of drawing. I've been worrying too much for my own good, hence the title and carefree style of this picture.
This supposed to be merely a doodle but of course I decided to play with it... and play with it... and play with it some more until I ended up with THIS. I made this mainly by just fooling around in SAI, hehe. It's messy, it's certainly not perfect, but I don't quite care. The important thing is that I finally made art and had fun! The style and colors of this kind of reminds me of a mix of Yoshi's Story/Island style and graffiti art, it's pretty neat!
Tools used: Paint Tool SAI, Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet.
Layers: 29
Time: 3 and 1/2 hours tops?
