Thank you. I've heard different amounts of years for locusts to stay underground, and it's so cool that they can do that. I want to do it for a month, until just after the election.

I'm actually pretty surprised that Ann didn't use Cicadas for her work. They're such a metaphor for that feeling that everyone gets just before they bury themselves underground and sleep for 17 years before waking up to mate and lay eggs and die.

They get really green when they're freshly emerged. I'm always amazed at how much the wings grow.
