Download for fullIt's 5:30AM, and the only time I was able to get online this weekend, few people know the reason. So I thought I'd upload something I did the other day.
Anyway, in 2001/2002, I'd always watercolour pictures of James and Growlie, and now this time I had some actual watercolour paper so they're not a crinkly mess.
This image should be viewed as a manga page (from right to left). Growlithe has to be the most difficult Pokemon to draw, I've never been successful at drawing him.
Tools used: Water soluble pencils crayons (Staedler, CNA, Noris Club brand) brushed over with water, done bits and pieces at a time, used some actual watercolour paint to finish the background. White acrylic paint for the snow flakes.
Scan: Unaltered, as is. No curve adjustments, no colour enhancers. It scanned a touch dark though.
Mistakes: Many, lol, look! My calligraphy pen splattered ink on his hand. xD
I need to get on with the art I owe, as well as get through my messages. *disapears before my net gets d/ced again*

I don't understand why you say you'r not succesfull of drawing growlith, 'cause you got it perfect in this pic. Everrything looksgood, one of my favorites episode in pokemon is this one. I'm lovin it!

Well, thanks! Nah, I'm rubbish at drawing Growlithe, he's so difficult to draw. It's a brilliant episode, I love it! Defiantly my favourite Pokemon episode. ^_^

Aww, thanks! That means alot to me. When I draw a character, I try my best to keep them close to their intentional design. I have his and Jessie's character sheet lying around somewhere.

I had to wait for more than a year before I saw it, I had to download it off some French site. (it was in English).
Then in 2006, before SA was blacklisted off Amazon.com, I bought the DVD with that episode on. =3

I'm glad you got it in the end. I used to have it on video. I had all the first season but the videos went moldy cos my house is damp downstairs.

I'm suprised my videos didn't go moldy, my old room had a damp problem, the walls eventually soaked up water, and you could stick a paper to the wall. Of course mom wouldn't believe us when we told her in 2001 that the room was damp, something was only done about it a few months before we moved out. Our Pokemon videos were kept in a box on the only side ofthe room that wasn't too badly affected by the damp.
