these are characters from a cartoon i used to watch when i was little called "Trollz". it was a western magical girl show about some fuckin' scary ass troll girls with steven universe jewels on their bellies but though as an older person i find the show to suck, i loved it when it was in its "prime" and wanted to take a trip down memory lane watching the cartoon again and drawing its characters (tho i do have to admit the character designs are pretty cute despite how dated they are)Related content

The middle one appears to be a humanized version of the protagonist from the similarly dated but much newer movie Trolls!. Didnβt Dreamworks make that one?

nah man, both this cartoon (from like, 2005 i think?) and the new Trolls movie are two separate franchises with different characters and worlds, though they're both based off an old series of dolls from like a million years ago. tbh Amethyst (the girl you're referring to) does look like Poppy, but i have to say the animation in the new Trolls movie makes their main protagonist not look super terrifying, unlike with Amethyst in her cartoon! she looks like a wide-eyed demon thats into late 90s fashion trendsΒ Β
