It's just a Canon Speedlite 580exII. Not hard to find, but expensive as hell. I bought it in Korea from a canon shop.

doesn't it make the camera unstable being so tall?
and now that i think of it, if you don't mind, i'm an animator, but i have a camera question, i don't normally use anything beyond my scanner..
are their cameras that make it easy to take a picture and then quickly look back at the previous one you took?
the reason i ask is that i'm trying to do stop motion, and using my crappy 50$ camera is making it very hard.

Most digital cameras display the image you shot for 2 seconds immediately after you shoot the photo.

i just figured out that with a push of a button i can look back at the previous pics i took.
that helped a lot with my most recent stop motion animation.
