The fact that Yato is painted in volume and subtle colour variation while the background is all flat patterns and block colours makes a very interesting combination. I really like how you shaded his skin and hair! And the complex patterns on the background kind of suit him (especially the flashy yellow, considering Yato's personality XD). Nice take on him! ^^
