Name: Hokorashii

Pokémon: Pidgeotto

Age: 21

Height: 5’11”

Village: Dark Forest

Job: Hunter

Ability: Tangled Feet
- Raises evasion when confused or dizzy. Just imagine him stumbling all over the place like a drunk I guess, sometimes miraculously flopping out of the way of people and attacks.

Attacks: Steel Wing, Featherdance, Roost (decided to go tactical, he did) , ----

Likes: BELLS most of all, forests, breezes, quiet places, storms, dancing (when no one’s around), his haori sleeves, the wide open outdoors, leaping upon unsuspecting prey (hunting!)

Dislikes: Large families, those utterly strict and all ‘law and order’ type people, large bodies of water, being cooped up in a house, awkward silence

Personality:
Hokorashii’s name fits him rather well actually. He’s awfully proud, overconfident, arrogant and (what he wishes) splendid and magnificent. Due to his own large family ‘flock’, Hokorashii isn’t all that pleased with and around other large families either. He’s stubborn at times and tends to be rude when he’s bored, picking at the smallest of things in a person… He’s a pain in the rear at times I suppose. Rashii loves the thrill of hunting with his bare hands, and with the claws that he has he doesn’t hesitate to use them to his advantage.
The soft jingle of small bells would have to be his weakness however, because for some reason he finds himself relaxed by their whispering little voices.

History:
His two older brothers and one sister weren’t all that keen with the new addition of Hokorashii in the family, yet before they knew it, Hokorashii had joined them in the same thought at the age of 4 when the twins were born. Each and every son and daughter, (the count being four boys, two girls), had to fight for the attention of their parents, who both tried hard to equally love them all. Their father, a strong Pidgeot named Houkou, could never get a break from the lively family, and although each child had difficulties he could figure out and help with, none were like the struggle he had with Hokorashii. The third son never seemed to enjoy spending time with his siblings, and it was barely any different for the parents either. Houkou talked with him about anything Rashii wished, yet was almost always replied with mutters, murmurs or just muffled grunts saying he wanted to go outside. Their mother rarely ever let them outside, due to the fact that a beast of a Seviper tried to kidnap Takara (eldest child, first daughter) when she was small – which he had to argue was years ago now – And oh how he hated not being beneath the open sky.
The games and activities the whole family – that being the rather large Mure family of Pigeot, Pigeotto and Pidgey and a handful of other flocking gijinkas that made up the entire small village – Hokorashii watched from the sidelines.
The only person who could hold Hokorashii’s attention was a lone old Fearow who lived further on the edge of the village walls. The old man told him of stories in his adventures, the interesting people he had met in his life and showed him attacks he was taught by the friends he travelled with. He had a friend once, long been dead now after a bandit raid group, and the Skarmory fellow had trained him with many techniques. After having Hokorashii’s rapt attention for months with his life stories, the old git decided to teach his favored attack move his skarmory friend passed down to him, to Rashii. That being Steel Wing.

As the years went on, Yoru (the eldest son, second child of the six), never had the want to work, and simply stayed at the creaky home and never left. Upon Yoru’s decision of laziness, Hokorashii had had enough of the house life.
Finally, aged 16, Hokorashii left with his farewells and headed in no real direction, not knowing what he was after yet knowing it was definitely not in the Mure village. He wandered endlessly for days, too proud and stubborn to go running back to the village as he discovered the world beyond the village walls. Eventually he had come across Dark Forest Village, which he embarrassedly he had to admit that he was lost in the surrounding thick forest. With the numerous different people and they’re many differences being appealing to him, he decided to ask (however politely the rambunctious fellow could manage) to stay. And ever since, he’s enjoyed the dimly lit forest village, where he’d found his passion as a truly ‘hands on’ hunter for his home.

Other notes:
- His tail tends to give away his emotions before he voices them;
quivering angrily before he shouts, ruffling in irritation when things are getting awkward, twitching in agitation when he’s straining to be polite… etcetera, etcetera

- He’s real touchy about others knowing his fondness to dancing. Really touchy.

- The two bells upon the ends of his sleeves are quite often his only comfort and company, cheering their little jingles as he dances alone in solitude.

- The feather flaps upon his sleeves are sort of like channels for ‘Steel Wing’, becoming like sharp blades solely just for the attack as an addition with his claws. It was the old git’s idea, he made them!
