Description After playing around with Octane Render for a few weeks, this is the first result I like to show you.
Workflow: Poser 2014 > Octane Render 10000 S/P 4:20 hours 1 mesh light (the window) + HDR > no postwork (exept sig).
Could probably have stopped at 5000 S/P but let it run overnight and didn't want to come up short
All resources bought or made by me except for the HDR which is free from hdrlabs.com

This is truly excellent! I've been playing with Octane for a while now and don't think I've created a scene as natural looking as this. I'm as impressed by the way you've used the fabrics as well - really realistic.

Thank you very much for the compliments! I had a quick look at your gallery, and there's some pretty good work there. I must admit the fabrics took some doing to get right. For the rest, as always, lighting is (almost) everything. Do you use daylight or meshlights, and what about HDR and IES? I've only just started with Octane but I've found the choice you make with these makes all the difference.

Love settings like this. The folding of the textile is very nice.

I must admit the settings were largely inspired by your own work. And to work in a minimalistic setting let's you concentrate on more on detail, which certainly helps when getting to know a new software.

Ohw.. That's cool to know! Thanks! And you are right, the less cluttered the more attention will go to where it should go. I've tried a couple scenes with all kinds of stuff in it, but I feel it is getting in the way.

Very good composition. Pose is excellent (especially toes) but mesh light from window is too weak Not illuminates girls. Maybe I'm blind Anyway render is beautiful.

Hi Piotr, thanks for your comment. Well, because there's so much white in this image I wanted to keep the lighting a bit subtle, otherwise it would soon have become really glaring. This way I imagine it's maybe a nice Sunday morning, the light is not so strong yet. She's been reading some poetry and now contemplating it's meaning.

Actually the texturing of the sheets turned out to be quite a task. Any texture that was a bit more defined would darken the sheets, so they didn't look really white anymore. Finally I found one that worked, but in this smaller format it's lost. Can't win 'm all, I guess
