two months following "the well built" dietone month analyzing Dante's body anatomy
three days learning "badass" attitude
three days learning music from a professional guitarist
one week and two days sewing the costume
one hour of makeup
fortyfive minutes of wig styling
And finally,Dante's cosplay is ready. I thought that achieving his look was impossible for a person like me,but I tried as hard as I could,since I promised this cosplay to my dear friend

Eating is so much good, I hate when I can't DX And I hate when I'm very hungry and I see somebody next to me eating something… ;^;
One day I was very much sick, I sleep until the evening and when I wake up my sister say me that they eat curry at lunch TT___TT Nobody love curry more than me xD
But… Not eating pasta… Nooooo I can't >_____< Pasta is too much goood! How do you do?! *still shocked*

Maybe you eat some curry with fruits in? I don't like when people put fruits in curry >___< I think it taste bad!
(I don't think you gonna go until swiss just to eat some curry xD but if one day you come in swiss, tell me and I'm gonna make you taste the most wonderful curry in the world!

Oh, that's beautiful. I don't know if you intended it, but there's something strangely..solemn about Dante's stance. I can imagine him playing something a little bluesy, looking at this pic.

I'm glad you noticed it- I seem to be highly affected by emotions before the photoset takes place,that is why photos usually reflect it--- I was thinking about dmc 5 before,and about the possibility TN decided to change Dante's outfit,that is why I was a bit worried and held Dante's figure in mind as hard as I could when the photographer flashed me

Very nice wig and outfit. I read your description and given the amount of time, it's very well sewn. The dark maroon red is spot on - it has that stylish color to it. Favorite part would have to be the sleeves with its fit and how it drapes. I did read that conversation you were having with the first commentator and I would have been pleasantly surprised and pleased to see you attempt Dante's DMC1 outfit, too. It's basically in the dustbin now with many fans, to my sorrow.
Still, great to see classic Dante.

I loved the first game and dmc1 Dante has his chest covered,that is why I was planning to do that specific outfit until three weeks ago! I changed my mind at last,when they told me I had to partecipate the con alongside with a Vergil cosplayer...if I had dressed in dmc1 outfit,it would've looked wrong...T^T
I want to try to sew it in the future,thought-

Ah. Yeah, the Vergil cosplayer would throw things out of whack. The only way a Vergil cosplayer would work with a DMC1 Dante is as Nelo Angelo. Maybe someone can try that with a team-up or versus.

yes ^w^ I didn't use a weapon for this cosplay,but I usually make them with wood- I think it's the best materials to make weapons like swords,spears and axes!
The most difficult to make are guns T^T I think you can make it with foam,but I'm not sure of the result...I think it's better to buy them ><

Hope I'm not hijacking the conversation, but I also wish to see more cosplays of DMC1 Dante in his first outfit. Personally, I like it the best out of the series - it's simple, sleek, and makes him look intimidating. No fancy doodads, no metal studs, fancy belt buckles - just rolled up cuffs, a black turtleneck, simple red leather jacket and pants with gun holster straps, and simple black boots. He says a lot without needing to scream 'bling bling' in this version.
Nice to see yet another person with the same wavelength as me regarding the outfit; although, I like the fact she put a lot of hard work into it. Still, it's the reason why every time I see a DMC1 Dante whatever, I go nuts. That original version of him has been relegated to the back-burner, unfortunately.

Understandable. It's hard to pull off a DMC1 Dante if you don't have his chisel-sharp cheekbones or jaw line. That might be why I'm seeing a lot of DMC3 Dante cosplay - he's easier with the facial structure. Maybe you can try Tony Redgrave (Dante before he became DMC3 Dante)? I know it's not considered canon, but it's interesting.
