Description
The Nora B-52 is a 155 mm/52-calibre self-propelled howitzer, developed by Vojnotehnički Institut (Military Technical Institute) of Serbia for export. The Nora B-52 was designed with a modified 152 mm D-20 howitzer mounted on an 8x8 truck bed. Its operation is fully automated, including a 36-round autoloader. It also features MRSI capability. Standard equipment includes a computerised fire control system and a land navigation system. Ballistic protection is provided against small arms fire, shell splinters and some mines. Serbia has exported the Nora B-52 to the armed forces of Myanmar, Kenya and Bangladesh.
The sounds of marching and military music melody echoed in Krusevac Square hero of Kosovo, where the main ceremony was held today to mark the 23 April - Day of the Army of Serbia.
