Personality:
Level Headed - Fajra makes a point not to be ruled by her emotions. During her upbringing, she bore witness to the sort of turmoil that could come from living life through the will of the heart. So she is careful not to let that cloud her judgement. She prefers to think diplomatically, considering the needs of all her people instead of the needs of one individual, especially herself.

Blunt/Assertive - Others might think her impolite, lacking diplomacy, or just plain rude, but Fajra simply speaks her mind. She doesn’t have time to beat around the bush, so she says whatever she’s thinking, leaving the receiver to deal with that as they may. After all, why bother with the weaving of politics when there are hungry mouths to feed and individuals to lead.

Devout - Despite her cut and dry personality, Fajra, like most Xacarites, is a devout worshipper of Sineyd. She believes wholeheartedly that the goddess has been with her all this way, helping her along. Before making big decisions, after seeking counsel from those around her, Fajra always excuses herself to her private den to pray, hoping for the will of Sineyd to lead her.

Determined - Fajra has always been determined. From a kit to a full grown adult, she’s always been the type who did not accept “no” for an answer. If she wants something, she will stop at nothing to get it. She will push herself past her limits if need be, and in fact, she doesn’t necessarily personally consider herself to have limits.

Resourceful - True to her nature as a Xacari, Fajra is intelligent and crafty, often resorting to unexpected solutions to problems. Though she certainly values brute strength and exhibits her own fair share, she doesn’t believe that is the only solution to an issue. She has great respect for those who can outsmart an adversary.

Appearance: Dark, deadly, and dangerous, the Jarlkonna has grown to be a striking example of a Kayan. Fajra stands tall and lean, with trim muscle hidden beneath a dark-hued coat. In her left ear she wears bone earrings and around her neck she sports a necklace passed down from her mother, a banded piece with three rough cut gemstones tied into it. She has a few scars, but nothing eluding to any serious injury in the past.

History:
It was said that Fajra’s mother was unlucky. The previous leader of the Xacari, Jarlkonna Ramadi, went through two pregnancies before she had a successful birth. Her first litter only consisted of one female, who was stillborn. The second was only a single male, also stillborn. So honestly Ramadi was beginning to question the goddess Sineyd when she sought to attempt pregnancy for a third time.

Though the goddess did bless her with three kits this time, one of them was sickly. Fajra. It was thought she would die within her first week of life. However, the seemingly weak kit proved she was a fighter from birth. Fajra gained her strength, fighting her other sisters for milk and warmth even before the trio understood what sort of fighting would take place between them in the future. Her growth appeared to be stunted at first, but then finally she began to grow and grow fast. Fajra came to stand over her sisters, outweighing them as well, with muscle she fought hard to aquire. All of her free time became dedicated to physical, mental and magical training. She was thirsty for knowledge and thirsty for the title of Jarlkonna.

As she matured, Fajra often disagreed with her mother’s way of governing, finding her too emotional. She saw this in her sisters as well. They allowed jealousy and anger and sorrow to rule them, while Fajra looked on, knowing she could not allow these emotions to make her decisions for her.

When her mother died, Fajra took over as Jarlkonna, a “no-brainer” choice for leader out of the three kits. Her relationship with her sisters suffered, but Fajra didn’t mind their scorn. She had what she wanted and she planned to use it.

Within her first year or two as Jarlkonna, Fajra birthed a litter of kits. Two females. One was stillborn, but the other survived. Simply named Suri, the female became Fajra’s firstborn daughter to survive. Their relationship isn’t necessarily close, as Fajra isn’t naturally motherly, but she loves her daughter nonetheless.

As far as Fajra’s opinions on worldly matters go, she isn’t the biggest fan of politics, but they are an unfortunate addition to her responsibilities as Jarlkonna. She honors the deal made with Pa Mi, as it was a necessity for the ultimate goal of Xacari, but she does not trust them completely. Still, Xacari backing comes to the highest bidder. Whoever can help her provide the best for her people, Fajra will strike a deal with. She is not above moving against other groups, but she is not eager to start any wars. Simply, Fajra always has Xacari’s best interest in mind.
