Just a mini critique here. You've added a lot of nice detail, but there's no place for the eye to rest. Sharper areas in contrast with broader areas will lead the eye through the composition better and it'll help you emphasize different areas of the face better. The eye, mouth, nose and prominent horns will all seem more important with the areas in between leading to them. The same goes for color contrasts throughout the piece. Real world lizards will have colors that will still hide camouflage them but aesthetically draw the eye around their face quite specifically. Hope this helps!

Ahah it's all good. Going for portraits next week but I feel your thinking. With dragons I kind of like to ignore thinking process. When I do another dragon I will use more ref for sure, detail for me is easy, research sometimes is to much time for speedsculpt.
