I actually didn't make it. Spenser (the guy cosplaying as Max) made it. I actually have a full description of how both costumes were made on one of my other DC2 pictures, but long story short, he made it with foam and paint.

We actually hand cast the Atlamilia stones out of polyester resin and then build the rest of the necklace with model magic and painted it gold. And thank you!

The stuff is a little bit pricey, since you have to buy the resin itself and the catalyst (it solidifies the resin) and the dye too. It's not like a million dollars, but it's not really cheap either. Most art stores have the stuff needed if you want to just look at prices. Also, the model magic and paint were not very expensive at all and can be found even at stores like Wal Mart.
