i love your drawings, im practicing face and body parts myself and am having a bit of trouble getting shading down perfectly. Any sugestions on sources or ways to hoone the skills? your drawings are inspiring to me. Thanks!

Thanks!
Hmm, well first I'd say simply practice. Once I get the outline set to my taste I start shading the right hand side of the drawing first as I'm left handed, to avoid smudging. I always have a habit of shading things in lighter than what they need to be at first, then I work in areas darker and darker the closer the drawing comes to completion, I guess it's a safety thing for me. But I always start out light and almost work in layers.
Couple of little tips are, shading in above the hair line, and shading in the brow area smooth before adding the darker pencil strokes for the hairs. That way the skin doesn't look too white between the hairs.
Other than that I'd say use the right materials for the look you want, I personally like really crisp lines and smooth values so I use smooth Bristol paper and stuff like cotton balls and Q-tips to smooth in areas like the cheeks.
That was a mouthful but I hope that helps, I enjoy the questions!
