What's quite ironic, though, is that I'm favoriting despite the fact that I loathe the color blue. You make it work, though.

Beautiful! Man, the simplicity, the word 'cat' on the piece, pure genious! Do you get this vision before you create the image or just develop as you go on pieces such as this?

It is a mix on how I create. I have an idea but it changes while I work. On this image, I knew it would be a cat but I did not know that there would be a word. About halfway through working on this is when I decided to add text and let serendipity decide what word to use. Placement of the word was serendipitous as well. It was almost placed above the cat's head but the heart area seemed best.
