Description
Yay! Something I spent more than an hour on! Yay for actual effort! :-D This is probably the last comic that I’m gonna put this much detail into. I love how it came out but there’s something about comics lately that I’m just not into – unless I get a really good idea anyway.
The idea for this is pretty self-explanatory. I basically wanted just a nice conversation taking place between Raph and April one quiet evening after they return to New York. Growing closer at Northampton and coming back here, Raphael began to see her in a different light. After spending some actual one-on-one time with her, he realized they have quite a bit in common he never noticed before and his feelings toward her begin to change. Meh. I suck at summaries.
If y’all can’t read (I ended up hating the typeface I used but I’m really too lazy to change it….Sorry.)
Panel 1 -
April: There’s something about sunsets that I love. You know, the wind if crisp and cool – it gets quieter – it’s just… nice. I never appreciated it much til we went up north. Before then, I never paid it much attention – but, being at the cabin in Northampton changed a lot of things – for all of us.
Panel 2 -
Raphael: Hmm.
April: Somedays I wake up thinking we’re still there. It was kind of like another world… But – this is nice too – and it’s HOME… I know it’s no Northampton, but… in a way… it’s beautiful… Isn’t it?
Panel 4 -
Raphael: Yeah…
Panel 5 -
Raphael: …beautiful…
