it looks really good and you paid careful attention to the shadows but to me the right wall is still to harsh in lighting compared to softness of the shadows on the other wall. and at that angle i think the back wall would transition from dark to like (left to right) because it wouldn't be directly in shadow imo.

also the blue ball looks strange to me. It's good in color variation but it still looks flat to me and i dont know if its because the little vertical line is almost centered in it or the curves of it aren't warped enough another thing i see is the floor of the area.... looks like its been panted because the difference between light and dark are very crisp. I think if it was blurred more like it is on the shadowed crease (left side) it would look more natural

but its still an interesting idea, nice in variety of things to look at, neat textures and i think you have advanced in rendering skills

PS- i'm not a marble-observer expert so could be wrong on lighting ">->" this should be more so critique but too long XD

Please forgive me I'm kinda sick and can write stupid things I meant - DOF (Depth Of Field) - [link] - camera focusing on one thing in the scene, leaving othere elements blurry. Where FOW (Field of View) - [link] - concerns the angular extent of the observable world

I assume you're using QuadCore and how much RAM? 4GB? There should be an extra field in DeviousInfo where one could specify the PC setup he's using.

I have a challenge for you; make glass with imperfections.
ie.
-random seams of bubbles
-ribboning
-cracks
-chips
-changes in density
etc..

I like your work, always have. When I think about it logically, its just circles surrounded by lines. But really it's total eye candy. I'm diggin the Depth of Field. Looks awesome.
