Rushed again, today's theme was "Draw a pony cooking; Draw a pony with a plate" so I at first thought about doing a Breaking Bad thing but then I realised that plate could be number plate. So Pinkie Pie show's Dash her new plate which is no other than Herbie but it doesn't seem like Dash is all that impressed
I think Herbie and Pinkie would get along quite well.

Same. I grew up with the classic first four films and you really can't beat them. His look in Monte Carlo was my favorite though so it's nice to see you added the fog lamp from Rides Again and Monte Carlo but while having the headlight tape like in the first film.

Indeed, they were great films. I sort of mashed up the looks a bit but I loved the look of the headlight tape, I guess added my favourite elements. The Monte Carlo look was really good. I'm glad you noticed.

Oh I noticed alright XD I even customized a Johnny Lightning Herbie to look more like it though I'm not done yet. I still need to add that lamp and the passenger side filler cap. XD [link] That was my favorite look for Herbie. I think it was the film where he looked the most like a serious race car. But yes I also liked the headlight tape from the first movie. Kinda wish it had made a return later.

Oh yeah, I think my brother has that same Herbie model too! It's still in stock form though, but those mods do look really nice. I agree the goodyear tyres gavea much more planted and proper racer look. But they didn't overdo it which I really liked. Paired with the light tape it'd make a great combo, in fact looking at those shots makes me want to revisit this idea again.

Yeah I was really excited when I found Good Year Eagle tire transfers. I already had some great wide tires from another Beetle Johnny Lightning made but they were originally blank. I found these rub decals online and they were just perfect for this. Really fills out the wheel wells. If you DO revisit this, why not put him in a race? Other ponies in other cars or hey, maybe a pony racing other ponies that are running while they drive Herbie? XD Be kinda funny. XD

The white Good Year writing really adds that special something to the look and gives that racer look. Well my very short little flash animation [link] (with an older stock wheeled Herbie) had just the idea of ponies racing Herbie while Pinkie sat in for the ride.

Right? Even some people's stock engined replicas look FAST with Good Year radials under them XD Lol, I actually faved that flash. XD I think I faved all your Herbie stuff XD
Oh, well, the Sanford and Son truck for Applejack, KITT from Knight Rider for Twilight since she's the science nerd...Pinkie gets Herbie for sure, hmmm...Rainbow get's the A Team van maybe? Or the Batmobile? Maybe not a car at all, maybe the Street Hawk motorcycle? Fluttershy...ummm...we'll get back to her...Rarity might get Magnum's slick and stylish Ferrari though. It's simply faaaaaabulous! Fluttershy...uhhhhh...lol, Christine? A beautiful car with a bad temper? Lol, I dunno. It's hard because what sort of car wouldn't be intimidating for her but also express her personality well?

Apologies once again work caught up with me once again. Anyhow, yeah indeed, it's a great shame you can't add those Good Years on the Beetle in Forza. Oh well Thank you very much! It has become rather difficult to keep track of all the favourites.
Ah, see it's rather complex once you try and make one for each and every pony. I can see the choices for AJ but I'd perhaps take a different chose with RD and Twi, being a really fast and flashy vehicle maybe a Veryon SS or something extreme maybe a F1 car. Perhaps that classic jet power Batmobile would work. With Twilight I was thinking more safety first like a Volvo, (I actually had some ideas with Twilight and Volvo 240 like in my Continental drift one, I almost used a 240 thinking she'd pick safety over anything else having probably studied cars XD) but maybe can see the science aspect with KITT. Rarity I'd of thought something like a Bentley or Aston Martin but a Ferrari wouldn't seem out of place. Fluttershy yes, difficult maybe a Fiat 500 Abarth as its cute but still powerful for the class, perhaps Herbie if he didn't fit so well with Pinkie. As you can see it's a bit hard to place.

Well it depends on the theme you go with. If you did TV or celebrity cars...I'd thought about it but maybe the pink car from the Thunderbirds TV series. I forget what it's called but Rarity would be great in that. I don't think they made a celebrity Volvo XD But KITT would be pretty safe what with the passive laser restraint system they put in him to protect the driver XD Maybe Fluttershy would drive Daisy Duke's jeep. XD Aside from Herbie, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the Monkymobile, Hell, Lupon the 3rd's classic souped up Fiat 500...Pinkie has a LOT more options.

That's true a theme would make it easier, I know the one you are talking about its very much like a Rolls Royce so it'd definitely fit Rarity. Haha true XD, if Fluttersht gas Daisy Duke's Jeep then AJ has to get the General Lee XD, I'm pretty sure I've already seen a few of those already though. Haha yes indeed XD, So what would Dash be for celebrity? Still the Batmobile or Speed Racer, maybe even the BTTF DeLorean?

OH! The Speed Racer car for Dash WOULD be really cool, or what about the Coyote X race car from Hardcastle and McCormick? That would be slick for her. Or for a movie rout maybe the Blade Runner police Spinner? I still think the A-team van would be cool for AJ though. Only problem with giving her the General Lee is that you'd have two cars from the same show. That wouldn't break it up too easily. If you did that you'd have to change Fluttershy's car. She's a bit difficult to choose for. I initially thought the jeep would be a nice rural vehicle for her XD

I hadn't heard of Coyote X perhaps as obsurce as that the Viper Defender from Viper. Which might suit Twilight with all its tech, But certainly the Coyote X looks the part for Dashie too. Maybe but then might clash with the Night rider otherwise I'd suggest the Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit as She's already got the hat XD. Colour wise the original yellow/orange Mustang from Gone in Sixty Seconds might work too although I'd kinda of like the rusty 77' Camaro version of Bumble Bee from the Transformers for AJ too. Speaking of Jeeps what about ones from Jurassic Park since it was the parks vet's vehicle to get around in or the Explorers since they would be quiet and electric. Or even that Lancia from Herbie Goes Monte Carlo might work colour wise at least. See this is the problem far to many choices that are all too splendid, maybe it'd be simpler to limit it to only a few of them XD

it's kinda obscure yes but I like the Smoky and the Bandit Trans Am for Applejack a lot! That's nice! So true about the hat too. Still think KITT for Twilight though. Yeah it's two Trans Am's but it would still work I think though the Viper from Viper would be neat for Twilight as well. Only reason I wouldn't use the Lancia from Herbie is that you'd be using two cars from the same series for two characters. XD
But Yes, Pinkie could get Herbie though oddly enough Fluttershy would be good for Herbie too because of the kind soul thing reminds me of Herbie Rides Again with dear old Mrs. Steinmetz.
Pinkie could then get something more zany like the Monkeymobile from the Monkees or the Bananamobile from the Banana Splits. Or hell, Bumblbee from Transformers. She has more possibilities for crazy cars. XD
Twilight gets a science car like the Viper or Kitt...oooo...or maybe the car from Automan XD
AJ gets the Bandit Trans AM.
Dash maybe gets the Coyote X.
Rarity gets that pink car from Thunderbirds.

Yeah, plus I love that model Camaro/Trans Am^^ Well yeah the two black Trans Ams might be a bit to similar but looking up that Automan Countach looks pretty Tron style and cool. either that or a DeLorean from BTTF since there are both scientists and that time travel episode XD. Oh yeah Mrs. Steinmetz, Fluttershy and Herbie would be a great mix like that. If my look up is correct then the Bananamobile is a six wheeled argo type vehicle? I could see Pinkie in that

I'd probably fan them out and place the ponies around them and here and there actually behind the wheel like Pinkie...I could actually picture her doing a sort of hand stand on the steering wheel of sorts. XD

Mostly I think Rainbow is probably both confused about how in Equestria Pinkie got a automobile (and one with a mind of its own at that!) to Ponyville and what to make of such a slow contraption.

Ah yes, I remember those calculations. I never was a mathematical genius, so they went way over my head, but I was definitely very impressed by the results. Though it does leave one to wonder how Rarity survived her little trip in Rainbow's arms.

Oh I'm certainly no mathematical genius either, but they were relevant to some of my ideas for Scoots and matching up the high powered aircraft to challenge Dash. (All though currently no manned aircraft, excluding spacecraft reentry earth have reached the hypersonic speeds of Dash assuming those calculations are correct.) Haha indeed! I guess it was magic?
