This was meant to be last month's fanart friday for my Patreon, but I just didnt have time to get it in. |D But despite the delays here it is!This month someone requested season 1 digimon fanart! :3 Digimon was probably my favorite show as a kid and was (and still is!) a huge influence in my art.
I left out the humans in this one and only drew the digimon, cuz drawing the whole squad would probably kill me xDI tried to use only photoshop for this cuz i wanted to practice some brushwork, but it was just taking too long so back to Sai I went haha. Also because I wanted to get this done in time so like the last one, it was a bit rushed eheh. (prolly the last time i take on drawing 8 characters in a Fanart Friday piece |D)

Hmm, not really. There are countries where broadcast episodes have not been censored. In France, censorship was disgusting. Example: In an episode a digimon gets a knock and he has wounds all over his body on the image after (The censorship group has cut off the scene where he was injured by several digimons) 👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Ok, I can understand that they cut some passages 'violent' but hey it's not a violent series where there is blood every episode and arms cut! (Yes, I am very upset by unnecessarys censorships)
As a result, we have incomprehensible scenes(even for a child of 5 years old!
I hope the censorship has been less awful for you and the others.

Ah, I don't know much about the French dub, but all I remember is that the English dub pretty much censored all of the violence, and made the dialogue cheesy as possible :'D But admittedly I prefer the music choice in the dub more than the sub xD

Whoa! I love this style! Everyone has so much colour and expression! The first movie of Digimon adventure Tri is out now too so this is perfect timing! Go watch it if you want a more mature anime approach Digimon! It's great! :3
