Ahh thank you! I usually have no problems with arms and waists and legs and stuff but wrists and hands irk me. Had to go look up a bunch of pictures of hands ffff.
Oh gosh I know .o. As if using a reference is something to be ashamed of o.o
It REALLY helps. Why would you refuse something that could help you improve faster, help you retain techniques longer, and help you become a better anatomical artist overall?

I think it came out beautifully! Never be ashamed to use a ref, it's what helps you improve as an artist. In all honesty, I think the anatomy looks fantastic as well as the character itself. I can actually see in the drawing that you had fun while drawing it, which is a really good thing. Must be why she looks so perfect. XD Kudos to the great character design, especially if you thought of it on the spot! c:

But yeah! I use refs sometimes too! And some of the times I don't, I'm usually too lazy to look for one, though thats not to say it usually comes out good. XDDD I'm sorry people kinda rub it in your face subtly that they don't need refs. Most people do, more than they're willing to admit. You know, stroke of the ego and so forth. I think it's stupid to lie about something like that, or try to make yourself sound better/more experienced than another. It's kind of rude and off putting. >: Regardless, ref or not, you did the character yourself, so that counts for a lot and thats most than a lot of artists can say. XD
