Great proportions, I love the overall scene, except for the end part of the snake.... it stops too abruptly. Still, the woman is great and the main features of the snake are great. I was going to bitch about the shading but I re-read your comment and I see you were sick of the marker paper. If it was such a pain I don't blame you for stopping before finishing the shading.

Beautiful drawing. very soft, great work! this is my new fav. Awesome work; it deserves alot of praise. the reflections in the glass surface are wonderful. i would have textured the serpent a bit, but maybe the smooth glassy snake is what makes it special, anyway great piece.
