Description I love Skies of Arcadia and I love Ponies. This picture was inevitable.

Edit: I just saw this on Equestria Daily. I don't know how it got there, but I am honored! Whoever submitted it, thanks!

Also, I meant to post this before (it was actually inspired by The404's post), but there are 6 types of magic in Skies of Arcadia and 6 elements in FiM. So I guess the attacks in this game are based on Kindness, Generosity, Loyalty, Honesty, Laughter, and Magic.

Knew it was only a matter of time before I saw something like that, but at the same time, I can actually see that happening.

I can definitely see Rainbow Dash pulling off Vyse quite well. Β To be honest, I think Rarity would have fit the roll of Aika better than Pinkie Pie, but that's just me. Β Fluttershy though is a perfect fit for Fina because of her shy personality.

Now the only question is...is my thought of making Rarity Gilder, Applejack Drachma, and Twilight Enrique, make much sense?

I have loved this forever, and am so happy to have finally found who made it!


I still have a Dreamcast that works, and two copies of Legends with three Gamecubes so I can still play it.


When they come for me (and they will) they will find me in a locked room, collecting my urine in bottles and playing this game over and over and over and over and over.

Excellent work. Just started my yearly nostalgia run through SoA and I started thinking about drawing a crossover like this one, only with Vyse as Twilight, Aika as Applejack, Fina as Fluttershy, Cupil as Pinkie Pie, Drachma as Big Macintosh, Gilder as Rainbow Dash and Enrique as Rarity. It's hard to draw precise character parallels but where there's a will there's a way right? Hah

I suppose the better the character, the more difficult it becomes to make direct parallels. On the other hand, with more gray area there's more room for interpretation. I'd love to see your version when it's done. Please let me know!

I want this. I really want this game. I mean, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy as Vyse, Aika, and Fina? You sir, make me want to check EVERY place that sells retro games and see if they have Skies of Arcadia Legends (though I agree the original had the better boxart). I loved that game. Couldn't bring myself to do all of the Piastol and Wanted Battles (the former scaring me, and the latter was a bitch and a half as I couldn't find Daikoyua or Lord Bane), but still was an epic game.

It was a very cool, cool game. Commanding an airship in a JRPG and actually getting to fight with it, and on its deck... It's like a nerd's dream.

Apparently the original Dreamcast version had better music too, which makes me jelly, but I can live with Legends. Here's hoping they make another one some day.

That is the version I have actually. However, the Dreamcast version's cover is so much better. That's why I used that one here.

Indeed I have. Played through the whole thing twice. I'm working on a no special moves run [wanted battles not included] actually. I haven't played it in ages though, cuz I'm at the water mountain thing, and I hate that dungeon. WAAAY too lengthy.
